The EU has asked Pakistan to take "clear and sustained" actions targeting not only all UN-listed transnational terrorist groups but also individuals claiming responsibility for attacks in the wake of the Pulwama terror strike. Saudi deputy Foreign Minister Adel-Al Jubeir, who accompanied Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to the region last week, had also said their objective was "to de-escalate tensions between the two countries".
Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy called up both Pakistan and India to "de-escalate" the tension. Pakistan has demanded that it provide proof to back its claim.
Meanwhile, to pay homage and respect to slain DySP Aman Kumar, son of Swami Raj of Gogla district Doda, a wreath laying ceremony was held at District Police Lines, Srinagar. The two sides reaffirmed their resolve to promote closer cooperation at global forums, the statement said. The FM expressed satisfaction over the upward trajectory in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Malaysia.
