Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex attend a gala performance of "The Wider Earth" in support of the Queen's Commonwealth Trust & the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy at the Natural History Museum on February 12, 2019, in London, England.
Thomas responded to the interview by releasing a private letter from his daughter, and now a new report claims that Meghan is at her "wit's end", Prince Harry is "angry" and "upset", and Queen Elizabeth is calling the situation a "nightmare".
Britain's famously aggressive press at first welcomed Markle into the royal fold when she and Harry tied the knot at a lavish Windsor Castle wedding last May, in a ceremony attended by Clooney and his human rights lawyer wife Amal.
"You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called", Markle reportedly wrote.
He added, "We've seen how that ends", alluding to the auto accident that claimed the life of the princess in 1997. "We asked her how her pregnancy was going and she said she was six months and she tapped her tummy", Carla Gandy, a Wallasey resident, told People magazine at the time. On a daily basis you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know.
"While the objective of Meghan's letter was very much to fix the relationship with her father, she knew in her heart of hearts that this was going to be released to the papers", he said. "He will get down on his knees and crawl about with them for hours, you know making amusing noises and laughing", said Camilla during an appearance on BBC documentary, Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70.
Kensington Palace shared a photo of the royal couple as they arrived.
