The new launch trailer for Electronic Arts (EA) and BioWare's upcoming video game Anthem has been released, telling players to unleash your power as you suit up in one of four javelins and take on a world of danger.
Strongholds were available in the recent open beta and gave players a taste of one of the highest-level fixed challenges in Anthem, ending with some top-quality gear if you and your squad can survive it all. Contracts are specialized missions you take on by talking to NPCs, and they improve your faction rep and unlock new blueprints.
After you've ventured deep into the world of Anthem, mastered their abilities and gone toe-to-toe with terrifying enemies, their journey will only be getting started. Today, the first hint of just what sort of endgame loot, missions, and game-changing events we'll experience arrived in the form of a new video. Legendary Contracts will also be made available for players hungry for more hard, multi-part adventures. Or do you think Anthem will lack the content necessary to keep you interested?
Bioware has also dished out a look at the future roadmap for Anthem to ensure that players know that plenty is in store over the next couple of months.
Once you have a blueprint, you'll need crafting materials and coin to create gear you've your eye on. Contracts and the more hard legendary contracts are other components to the Anthem endgame. Stay in constant communication with your team and use everything you've learned as a Freelancer to make it through to the end. It's rather vague, but you can see these in the images embedded above. Finally, the third update will introduce Anthem's first Cataclysm, a type of time-limited world event said to be partly inspired by Fortnite's long-game seasonal narratives. During these events, players will have to overcome extreme weather, tougher creatures, and new mysteries.
