The Academy has revealed Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lopez, Whoopi Goldberg are among the presenters for the Oscars on February 24.
Variety reported in January that for the fist time in almost three decades, the Academy will televise the show with no host, instead utilising a handful of famous faces to present different segments.
The Oscars ceremony will not have an official host this year, the president of ABC Entertainment, which broadcasts the ceremony, said on Tuesday. "The producers, I think, wisely made a decision to not have the host and just have presenters and let the movies be the stars".
More presenters are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is said to be lining up a select group of A-listers to introduce the segments rather than one host.
"Or we're gonna have to move and find another host.' Talking about the tweets from 2009, 2010", Hart said in an Instagram video. "The producers chose to wisely not have a host and have the presenters and the movies be the stars".
Burke also admitted going host-less for the Oscars made her nervous but said, "It no longer does".
"I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscar's.this is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many awesome talented artists", he tweeted, just two days after being announced as host.
The Oscars are set to air on ABC at 8 p.m. EST Feb. 24.
