Ariana Grande No Longer Attending Grammys 2019 After Disagreement with Producers

Ariana Grande has allegedly pulled out of performing and attending the Grammy Awards over a disagreement over her song choice.

They say she felt "insulted" after the producers initially refused to allow her perform "7 Rings," her recent number 1 hit from the forthcoming album "Thank U, Next".

The Grammy's loss of Ariana Grande is almost impossible to replace; her singles "Sweetener", "Thank U, Next", and "7 Rings" have reached a level of critical mass since going entering the streaming World.

One source also claimed that stipulations were not placed on other performers at the show.

Representatives for the Recording Academy and Grande did not immediately respond to HuffPost's request for comment.

They wouldn't let her sing a song from her Melodrama album which was nominated for album of the year. Both sides were thereby at an impasse in negotiations, to which the Grammy's counteroffered Lorde a spot in the Tom Petty tribute performance.

Grande said, No thank you, next!

7 Rings was played a record 15 million times in its first 24 hours on the music streaming service Spotify. In the past two years Grande has experienced two major tragedies - the 2017 bombing outside her concert at the UK's Manchester Arena in which 22 people died, and the drug-overdose death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller last September.

The Grammys will air on CBS this Sunday (February 10) and Alicia Keys is set as the host.
