Nokia 5.1 Plus has started receiving its Android 9.0 Pie update. The Android Pie OTA update should be taking place in a phased manner over the next few days. Recently, HMD Global also released the Android Pie update in China for the Nokia X5.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus is the latest device to receive stable Android 9.0 Pie goodies, according to a tweet posted earlier today by the company's Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas.
A new update which will bring happiness to the faces of the users. The update is seen to be 1214.4MB in size. Initially it was for unknown reasons, but lately, it's because of the phone's cameras, as HMD Global obviously needed to include PureView tech into the device, and it did not have all that much time to do that. Nokia Released Nokia 5.1 nearly a year ago and it's running on Android Oreo. The phone will also ship without a display notch, and without a punch hole in the display.
