The Microsoft Surface Go features a lovely design similar to its Surface Pro line-up. The tablet features a 10-inch PixelSense display with 1800×1200 resolution, which has typical's Surface' line up 3:2 aspect ratio. The Surface Go was unveiled earlier this year as an answer to the affordable tablets from Samsung and Apple, with a host of dedicated accessories. It runs Windows 10 in S Mode out-of-the-box, but you can upgrade to the Professional one, but there's no going back once you make the switch. This means the Surface Go will be priced starting at about the Rs 40,000 mark, which is surely a fair guess when you consider the retail tags of past Surface product launches in India.
The Surface Go with an Intel 4415Y, 64GB eMMC, 4GB RAM/ Wi-Fi is available for Rs 38,599 while the Surface Go with Intel 4415Y, 128GB SSD, 8GB RAM/ Wi-Fi costs Rs 50,999.
The Surface Go's body is made of magnesium and there's Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front. The Surface Go Signature type cover will cost Rs 11,799. The $99 keyboard cover, $99 Surface Pen, and the $35 Surface Mobile Mouse are add-ons and will have to be purchased separately. Surface Go also has the ports consumers need, including Surface Connect for charging and docking; USB-C 3.1 for data, video, and charging; a headphone jack; and a MicroSD card reader for storage expansion.
