Many UK dwellers have bought Xiaomi products before.
While Xiaomi's strength lies in the smartphone segment, the new pricing will be affecting only two smartphones.
Back in September, when Xiaomi introduced the Mi 8 Pro and Mi 8 Lite, the company confirmed the handsets for a launch in China but was tight-lipped about any other potential releases. The Mi 8 Pro is essentially a global version of the Mi 8 Explorer edition and the key highlights of the phone are that it packs a pressure-sensitive in-display fingerprint scanner and also supports IR-based face unlock and not 3D facial recognition tech which is found inside the Mi 8 Explorer edition.
The same variant of the Mi 8 Pro, which is launched in China, has come to the UK. You can see the full line up at Xiaomi's newly launching London store in the Westfield White City shopping center that opens on November 18. That's because it's actually transparent, giving you a direct look onto the internals of the device.
If you want to pick the Mi 8 Pro up for yourself, it'll be available on November 9 at Three, Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Carphone Warehouse, Currys PC World, Very, Gomobile, Mobile Phones Direct, Katana, and Mi.com. Those are dummy components that you can see, but it gives the phone a different look to nearly any other phone on the market.
The list of devices that will be updated to MIUI 10 Stable build is Xiaomi Mi Max 2, Xiaomi Mi 4s, Mi 4c, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Max, Mi 4, Mi Max Prime and more. As for the configurations, the Mi 8 Pro comes with a dual camera setup on the rear with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel for wide-angle shots and secondary sensor of also 12-megapixel.
