The Cupertino, California-based technology giant said Friday the screen on some iPhone X units doesn't respond or responds intermittently when touched. That includes Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who reported on the issue yesterday and posted a video previous year of his iPhone X screen woes. Apple says it will examine any iPhone to make sure its eligible for the free fix. Apple says if an iPhone X meets requirements under the fix program, it'll replace the display free of charge.
For the 13-inch MacBook Pro, Apple said some devices might have an issue that causes data loss or drive failure.Читайте также: Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic calls upon players to put in more effort
Devices affected by this iPhone X screen failure will be repaired, free of charge. In other words, you will have to pay for a new screen separately, which might cancel out the need for a free display module replacement.
If you've experienced any of this, Apple encourages you to find an authorized service provider, set up an appointment at an Apple Store or contact the company's technical support teams, who will assess the phone.
Separately, Apple's also announced an SSD storage replacement affecting the non-Touch Bar version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro sold between June 2017 and June 2018. What's more, Apple writes that repairs may be limited to the original country of purchase, though we can't imagine this will be an issue for most owners. To know if your MacBook Pro needs to be serviced, you'll need to enter your device's serial number on Apple's support page.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
