OnePlus says it has also implemented a variety of behind-the-scenes improvements to the 6T's subject recognition capabilities.
The successor to OnePlus 6 brings a number of upgrades including an in-display fingerprint sensor, a larger battery, a larger display, a smaller notch, and more.
The foray by 5-year-old Shenzhen-based OnePlus comes after United States mobile carriers AT&T and Verizon this year backed away from plans to work with Huawei on high-end phones on security concerns. Americans have greater access than ever to OnePlus smartphones so if you're interested in picking one up, here's what you need to know. OnePlus claims the handset can last "through a day's work with battery life to spare" although the specs list doesn't explicitly state expected battery life. By adding another layer to the equation, like a plastic or glass screen protector, it can affect the way the sensor "sees" your fingerprint - just like putting more layers of material in front of your camera lens. The device will come in 2 colours- Mirror Black and Midnight Black. This is because, as of Android Pie, the Recents app overview is built into the Launcher application alongside OnePlus' gestures. OnePlus claims to have developed the algorithms behind this new feature. OnePlus 6T has a handsome 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. Yes, it will have a headphone jack dongle in the box for the USB-C port. OnePlus has the tendency of releasing a new phone every 6 months or so and for nearly a similar price segment. The company has already confirmed that their next smartphone will come with the latest 5G.
For connectivity, the 4G VoLTE-enabled phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 with support for aptX and aptX HD, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, RGB Ambient Light Sensor, Electronic Compass, Sensor Core.
The OnePlus 6T is available from November 6, starting at £499/$549 for the 6GB/128GB option.
Speaking about the new feature, at the launch North America Region and Global Marketing, Kyle Kiang, said: "We have been thinking about what low light photography actually means".
