The increase in detail makes it more likely that this is what we'll see when the iPad Pro finally gets an official announcement.
The star of tomorrow's Apple event will definitely be the new iPads. To achieve this ultra-thin bezel look, the traditional home button with Touch ID has been removed and it's replaced by Face ID similar to the latest iPhone models.
It's clearly not an edgeless display like what you see on the iPhone X, but it's certainly a more compelling form factor. Unlike with iPhones, Face ID will work in both portrait and landscape orientations. Allegedly, there'll be an updated Apple Pencil and, as with the new iPhones, nearly edge-to-edge screens and slimmer bezels.
If the iPhone 5 aesthetic is used by Apple for its new iPad Pro tablets, we can expect them to have squared-off sides. Apart from the tablet, Apple is expected to announce a newer Pencil stylus and it will still likely to be sold separately. Instead, just like the iPhone XS and iPhone XR, the 2018 iPad Pro lineup will feature Face ID.
Some reports claim, in addition to the new iPad Pros and MacBooks, Apple will also launch the long time talked about AirPower charging pad, and updates for the AirPods.
The event begins on Tuesday at 10am local time in NY. It will also be the first time Apple has changed the charging port on iOS devices since 2012. The Air, as a whole, hasn't been refined in three years, and in its current version has a display that's way overdue for an upgrade, well lower in resolution than the 1080p norm. A MacBook Air with a Retina display has been in the cards for a long, long time and current rumors have there potentially being a new MacBook that will replace the Air on the bottom rung of Apple's notebook pricing ladder. Now though, it looks like 9to5Mac has found a more substantial icon that can be treated as solid proof. There were some whose hopes were dashed when such a new mini computer didn't appear at Apple's iPhone-centric even last month. Compared to the previous generation Mac Mini, the new one will come with much-improved hardware and updated specs and new features.
The first update to the Mac Mini since 2014 will add new processors and features for professional users.
There are a variety of rumours circulating about the new AirPods, including noise-cancelling and water resistance, but one feature the new version of the earbuds will nearly certainly get is wireless charging given that Apple first revealed the earbuds' new wireless charging case a year ago. A similar effect occurred with the iPhone X glyph found a year ago, ' the site wrote. Its iMac lineup was also last updated nearly 1.5 years ago.
