The edited video went viral on social media platforms. This volte face follows the police complaint Ms Dutta filed over the weekend against Mr Patekar, who denies the charges, and choreographer Ganesh Acharya.
Kumar's complaint said that he has not made any such statements and that the video is edited. No complaint has been registered as of now.
In the same video, a reporter told Nana that Tanushree has made several allegations against the makers of the film, saying, "I'm not able to do the rehearsals, I'm not able to do the dance steps that is why I am being put down on the set even though I was giving a lot of time on the set". We tried to search the video on YouTube, but could not get it; probably it was blocked or removed. The police cited that the "PadMan" actor noticed that the video could hamper his reputation in public.
"If she asks us to reinvestigate the matter then we have told her that we will offer all possible support". Bollywood's cliquey nature also made it hard to go public, she said. His complaint alleges that the answer was edited in a way that it appears as though he is speaking against Tanushree.
The incident can be traced back to the year 2008, when Tanushree Dutta was shooting with Nana Patekar for a song in the film Horn Ok Pleassss.
She also alleged in the interview that filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri had behaved inappropriately towards her during the shooting of the 2005 movie "Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets".
"A working environment without harassment and intimidation is a fundamental right and by speaking up this fearless woman helps pave the way towards that very goal for all of us", the actress-turned-author had written on Twitter.
