"I think he really just wants to embrace her, and have some closure on the distance, and the misconception and really let her know that he loves her". She did apologize for calling Meghan "The Duch-ASS", saying, "I worked in broadcasting and radio for a while, and I have always been a bit boisterous".
"I was really lashing out at media because I felt that no matter what we said - everything I said in the beginning was favorable, nobody printed that - and when I said nothing, they created stories and it was really just, it had run amok", Samantha added. During an October 1 appearance on British talk show Jeremy Vine, Samantha expressed regrets for her prior public disses towards her sister.
Samantha, who has been openly critical of Meghan since she and Harry became an item, slammed her half-sister on Twitter earlier this month as a "Duchass".
"Harry adores Doria and is happy that she's moving to London to keep Meghan company, but the idea of them all living under the same roof is just too much to take on". "I would say she has found her prince", Samantha said. "But I think I said that at a point which seemed inescapable". "So I thought in the beginning when we spoke publicly, I thought we were being open-hearted and even favorable and that fell on deaf ears and the media turned it into something it's not".
"As my little sister, and being older, I would think when I get older and when I pass away you wonder will your kids and your younger siblings be left in good hands?"
When asked if she was jealous of Meghan, Samantha said, "Jealousy, I hear that and it's odd - it doesn't really make sense".
"[My father] was being purposely ignored", Samantha claimed.
"How does it help him to alienate Meghan?".
Besides, the former actress supposedly made it very clear that they've never been close, so she sees no reason for a reunion of any kind. "How does that work?"
"We were hoping that private channels would be used", she explained.
This isn't the first time one of the duchess' more colorful family members has threatened to pop in on her and Harry. "You are humanitarian and I believed it". "You want to shame her don't you?"
