The final FIFA FIFPro World11 2018 will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Awards™ ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Monday 24 September.
With close to 25,000 footballers in 65 countries casting their votes for the final eleven, the Blues' trio will hope to make the final cut - though the competition is intense.
According to the rules, players are to vote one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three forwards based on the players' performances between 3 July 2017 and 15 July 2018 inclusive. Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes called the decision a "disgrace".
The shortlist of goalkeepers, defenders and attackers is a who's who of world football talent, with David De Gea joining last year's victor Gianluigi Buffon on the keepers shortlist.
Chelsea duo Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante are also on the list, as is Colombian defender Yerry Mina, who is on loan at Everton from Barcelona.
Barcelona's Lionel Messi returns, having been selected in the final XI last season, after winning the league and cup double in Spain.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic's incredible 12 year run in the final nominations list also came to an end alongside Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain and Alexis Sanchez and Gareth Bale as the most notable omissions.
Pogba, who has been strongly linked with an exit from Manchester United, features on a star-studded list of midfielders. He has already won nine World XI awards, including last year's.
The nominations are in for the FIFPro World XI and it includes 15 players now playing their trade in the Premier League.
