Sony has just announced September's PS Plus lineup and, of course, the sci-fi first-person adventure of Destiny 2 is included in the list - but wait, there's a twist. Note that PS Plus members will need to purchase the Forsaken DLC and Season Pass for Destiny 2 separately to enjoy everything the game has to offer.
Another World, Qube, and Foul Play are the games for PS3 and PS Vita, but as these are all cross-play PlayStation 4 owners get them as well. Alongside a new story, new equipment, a new raid, the PvEvP Gambit mode, and expanded content, Forsaken will start the second year of Destiny 2. Interestingly, according to the announcement, Destiny 2 is already available for all you that have PS Plus subscribers.
Forsaken launches soon and Bungie is promising that players will never be faced with a content drought.
With the Forsaken expansion arriving early in September, it would appear Sony is making sure nobody has a reason to miss the action. That hasn't stopped PlayStation from bringing us Destiny 2 and God of War III as September's free games.
Destiny 2's new content marks the beginning of Season 4 for the game, referred to as Season of the Outlaw. Destiny 2 is available for download today August 29, 2018. There are some cool games for you as well.
God of War III Remastered, meanwhile, is the predecessor of this year's God of War, which claimed the title as the fastest selling PlayStation 4 exclusive ever. If you are a huge fan of the franchise and wanted to relive the glory of God of War 3, well now is the time. This seems to be a complete reworking of the way we buy and sell in the game so I will definitely be looking into this in much more depth as the days count down to Forsaken.
